Apollo - Color

And a very late last entry to close out my Persona side-project. Been a while.

To one of my close friends Dave , I granted Apollo, Roman God of the Sun and Music. Here depicted as a floating entity, his design drew heavy inspiration from Hi-Rez's game Smite and their portrayal of Apollo. My aim with his Persona was to give him an intense and enthusiastic drive for creativity, his mind always aflutter with the next big idea to express. Because Dave dapples (and indeed, flourishes) in so many different kinds of media, like video-editing, writing, acting, graphic designs, and singing, to name a few, I thought a Persona based off of a deity that represented so many different types of art would fit my friend perfectly.

Not only this, but Apollo's concept also extends to his abilities. When using an ability, I imagined Apollo grabbing either his lyre, his paintbrush, his prop theater skull, or his bronze stylus to call forth the power. As such, these objects would 'orbit' around Apollo (You know: like a SUN! Ha-ha! Full-circle!). All of these combined elements form a Persona that represents Dave rather well: Bright, cheery, pleasant, and someone you'd like to be around often. Therefore, I assigned him the Sun Arcana, supported by the Shin Megami Tensei wiki:
"The Sun symbolizes happiness, joy, energy, optimism, and accomplishment. Occasionally, it is also associated with one's initial happiness. "

For anyone who actually looked at any, or all of my entries in this little side-project of mine, thank you. I hope it was enjoyable to look at. These art pieces were certainly enjoyable to create.
